I am a professional homeopath, registered with the Society of Homeopaths and fully insured to practice.
I trained at The Academy of Classical Homeopathy and The Centre for Homeopathic Education, both based in London. Training takes four years and includes comprehensive theoretical and practical instruction. I completed in excess of 150 hours of clinical practice under the supervision of qualified and experienced practitioners both in private practice and in London Clinics.
Before coming to homeopathy, I trained as an occupational therapist and worked for ten years in various NHS settings. This included elderly care, substance addiction, acute and long term mental health, chronic pain management and chronic fatigue syndrome (ME). Towards the end of this time I was responsible for managing an in patient department of a London Hospital.
In recent years I have been working as a registered child-minder while training as a homeopath and caring for my three young children.
As a family we have found homeopathy invaluable in treating the usual childhood complaints that arise and in maintaining the health of our family as a whole.
I believe that homeopathy should be used as a complimentary therapy, and I am happy to treat people who are currently using conventional medicines.
